OID description:
joint(2) ccr(7) is assigned to the commitment, concurrency and recovery service and protocol - ISO/IEC 9804, 9805 or X.851, X.852, which supports two-phase commitment.
The new editions have just been published as common text - the protocol (of which I'm editor) is already on the ITU-T gopher; for some reason the service wasn't there last time I checked.
