X.400 MTA and User Agent. Made at the University of British Columbia, Canada, in the Eighties. The first X.400 implementation to get seriously used by anyone. Currently, development is done at UBC and at GMD, Germany You need a license to run it, but the licensing situation is unclear. M400, sold by Osiware, is the commercial product based on the original EAN.
