• ON-Mail also offers a line-based for script programming.
• The ON-Mail MTA communication protocols:
  • X.400 -84 and X.400 -88
  • X.435 (pEDI), X.400 for the transfer of EDI messages
  • UUCP Mail
  • DecNet mail-11
  • RFC 822/SMTP internet mail
  4 th. quarter 1993:
  • FAX - both send and receive options, and postscript support.
  • P7 access
• ON-Mail MTA is based on development environment supplied by ISODE Consortium.
• ON-Mail MTA supports both TCP and X.25 (PSDN), and can run both options simultaneously.
